The Crucifixion by Peter Paul Rubens
---Carlyle
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832), one the the towering Titans of European geniuses, said, "The FIRST and LAST thing which is required of genius is LOVE OF TRUTH." Geoffrey Chaucer (1342-1400), said, "Truth is the HIGHEST THING that man may keep." John Ruskin (1819-1900) said, "Truth is to be COSTLY to you---of labor and patience, and you never to sell it, but to guard and to give." There was certainly a time in Western history when the truth in and of itself was an object of honor and sacredness, but those days are long past. In fact, in more modern history, H. L. Mencken (1880-1956), the American iconoclast, said, to paraphrase, that the majority of people prefer a lie to the truth because a lie helps them feel better about their failures. What Mencken and other atheists never understood is the fact that compromising the truth itself is what creates the environment that prefers lies to truths. Americans, especially Christian Americans, have nowhere to turn in the mainstream to find the unvarnished, uncompromising truth, but Wounding Truth is dedicated to just that: truth that wounds. American will never correct course dealing in political talking points and deciding between the versions of lies portrayed as "truth" in mainstream media and the Democrat Communist Party and the Republican Zionist Party. Wound Truth is dedicated to fighting back the lies about Western Civilization and setting the record straight. As Napoleon said, "Truth alone wounds." Wounding Truth is about the truth that wounds, regardless of feelings and the Marxist versions of history, philosophy, politics, science, and theology.
